SUMMARY:Split Tea Party
DESCRIPTION:We will be having monthly gatherings to engage in dialogue on important topics impacting our communities. Everyone is welcome and lets discuss what we want and how to create change through intentional action and strategic planning through the use of life management tools. \nLast year at our 9th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Arizona our theme was “Home finds us when our fires burn together.” Our fires must burn together; for love\, for protection\, and for a home where every life is honored. We want to extend the conversations within the framework of decolonization and radical resurgence. \nThe following dates of our monthly gathering will be: \n\nJanuary 31 @1:00 PM\nFebruary 28 @1:00 PM\nMarch 28 @1:00 PM\n\n*We will secure time and dates quarterly.\n\n\n\n\nNeed a planner? Please let us know and we can provide one. Email LM@matriarchways.org\nWho Should Attend: \n\nWe welcome youth\, elders\, LGBTQ+2 relatives\, and all who want to expand on decolonization/ resurgence and celebrate Indigenous cultures.\nWe welcome organizations and non-profits working with or alongside Indigenous communities.\nWe welcome community leaders\, advocates\, and protectors of Indigenous people\, land\, rights and justice.\nWe welcome artists\, performers\, and cultural practitioners who carry our stories and traditions.\nWe welcome students seeking inspiration\, guidance\, and role models.\nWe welcome educators\, scholars\, and academics open to Indigenous knowledge and perspectives.
